Glasgow Green Tease
15:30 on 19 August 2014
Centre for Contemporary Art
We’re pleased to invite you to our next Glasgow Green Tease at the Centre for Contemporary Art on Tuesday 19th August, 3:30 – 5:30pm, in the Club Room.
This time round we’ll be led by artist Penny Anderson who will speak about her view on performance as a carbon reducing practice, using her persona Sister Evangelina Carbonifera (and also Bunny Trickster) to highlight performance as a way of engaging conversation. Come and repent your carbon sins!
We’ll also hear from Claire Ferguson, CCA’s Green Champion, about how the organisation is thinking about sustainability and what actions are being taken by their staff to reduce the organisation’s environmental impact. Lastly, we’ll spend some time talking about the upcoming Green Art Lab Alliance meeting taking place at Tramway in March 2015.
For attendance at our next Green Tease please RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org by Monday 18th August. As always please pass this on to anyone else you think might be interested in attending. We hope you can make it along!
