Frances Stacey is a curator and producer who is based in Edinburgh. In 2009 she co-founded the artist run organisation Rhubaba Gallery and Studios and was a member of the committee until 2014. While working with the gallery she was involved in many projects including developing a series of public events titled ‘We are all U.F.O-nauts’. Since 2013 she has been a producer at Collective Gallery in Edinburgh and has produced ‘How Near is Here’ which consisted of a symposium, book chapter and series of workshops exploring relationship approaches to the city. In 2013 she also took part in the New Work Scotland programme for emerging artists and producers, and later, in 2016, was a participant in the Curatorial Studios Project. She is currently working on a project with artist and filmmaker Petra Bauer at Collective and in collaboration with ScotPep.
