Marcus is an independent curator and editor working predominantly with artists’ moving image. Having studied History of Art at the University of Glasgow, he then completed an MLitt in Curatorial Practice at Glasgow School of Art in 2015. He is the founder of Transit Arts, an itinerant city-wide programme of artists’ film, and has developed screening programmes in partnership with GSFF, Goethe-Institut, CCA, The Pipe Factory, Southside Film Festival, and ATLAS, Isle of Skye. His research is particularly concerned with labour, infrastructure, and the conditions of production. Marcus is Project Coordinator at LUX Scotland.
