Shireen Taylor, alongside London-based curator Sandra Ross, set up The Hidden Noise curatorial project in 2012 consisting of 3 exhibitions and associated events in Glasgow and 1 in London over a 5 month period. The project focused on artists working across specialisms, particularly the connections between fashion and craft, music and film and showed work by Sophie Macpherson, Clare Stephenson and Colin Self, among others. The Hidden Noise has recently returned for a one-off event at the CCA, featuring Rose Kallal, Phosphene and Cru Servers and an exhibition for GI 2016 with Baldvin Ringsted and Otto Piene. In 2016 Shireen also took part in the Curatorial Studios project which was organised by Kristeen MacDonald and SCAN.
