Solo Exhibition of recent Abstract paintings.
Rowena’s abstract paintings invite the viewer to take part in an exploration of new visual sensations. As the Surrealists put it, to exercise the visual nerve ‘beyond space and time.’ In other words to accept the art in the unknown, the obviously unrecognisable, and take part in a visual experience that stimulates a powerful aesthetic sensation.
