‘Fragments of Reality’ by Stuart Jackson and Yelena Visemirska marks the debut of Wasps’ brand-new Cross Estate exhibition programme. Curated by our Arts Programme Manager, this new initiative brings together artists from across Wasps’ studio buildings throughout Scotland, creating fresh connections and showcasing bold new work. Don’t miss the first exhibition in this exciting new chapter!
Through the creative process, Yelena Visemirska, based in Inverness Creative Academy, has gravitated towards the memories of places that she has travelled to and explored. Places that have impacted her for better or for worse, those places that have left an emotional imprint.
Self-taught Scottish artist Stuart Jackson, based in Meadow Mill in Dundee, has been working in ceramics for fifteen years, with a focus on large-scale figurative sculptures that embody narratives from modern history, evolutionary science, and mythology.
Join us at South Block on Friday 9 May (5pm–8pm) to see this new exhibition, and the first in Wasps’ programme of Cross Estate Exhibitions.
