An online event of visuals, sounds and words choreographed by artist Paul Noble, re-imaging the duration, horizon and captivating reverie of drawing.
Part of the series of events to accompany the exhibition Trinity Buoy Wharf Drawing Prize 2020.
Paul Noble is a contemporary artist forging a unique and maverick path in the ebullient British art scene. He received widespread international recognition for his vast and monumental drawing project, Nobson Newtown, which he began in 1996.
Recent solo exhibitions include Musée des Beaux-Arts, La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland (2018); Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen, Rotterdam, Netherlands (2014) and Whitechapel Art Gallery, London (2004). Selected group exhibitions include Politics of Small Places (with Patrick Geddes), Cooper Gallery, University of Dundee, Scotland (2018); Drawing Now: 2015, Albertina, Vienna, Austria (2015); Body & Void: Echoes of Moore in Contemporary Art, Henry Moore Foundation, Perry (2014) and Turner Prize Exhibition, Tate Britain, London (2012). His work is held in public collections including Tate, London; Museum of Modern Art, New York and FRAC des Pays de la Loire, France.
