Academicians in Isolation
4 June 2020 until 12 July 2020
Royal Scottish Academy
Art can provide solace when circumstances are beyond our control. With this in mind, The Academicians’ Gallery is pleased to present an online exhibition of work by Royal Scottish Academicians created during lockdown. With studios and workshops closed, the lockdown has required artists to adapt in order to practise, but the challenge has brought opportunity, and this exhibition shows Academicians continuing to work with ingenuity and flair.
Exhibitors: Ade Adesina | Michael Agnew | Sam Ainsley | Alfons Bytautas | Joyce W. Cairns | James Castle | Doug Cocker | Francis Convery | Stuart Duffin | Graham Fagen | Ronald Forbes | Paul Furneaux | Jo Ganter | Ian Howard | Mhairi Killin | Henry Kondracki | Elspeth Lamb | Eileen Lawrence | Marian Leven | Stuart MacKenzie | Neil MacPherson | Leon Morrocco | Jim Pattison | Barbara Rae | Michael Snowden | Andrew Stenhouse | Edward Summerton | Adrian Wiszniewski
Please note that the Royal Scottish Academy is currently closed and this exhibition is presented entirely online.
