Adam Benmakhlouf: Sound Workshop
10 August 2019 until 17 August 2019
Edinburgh Sculpture Workshop, 21 Hawthornvale, Edinburgh, EH6 4JT
Saturday 10 & 17 August, 2 – 4pm
Adam Benmakhlouf has been commissioned to make a sound work for ESW’s beacon tower. His practice mixes painting, writing, print, sculpture, sound and video. The works he produces reveal hints of autobiography, friendship and intimacy, which can be tender, honest and candid.
Sculpture Saturdays are a series of artist-led workshops exploring the themes and processes used in the three artist projects presented at Edinburgh Sculpture Workshop.
Adam Benmakhlouf’s sound workshop asks participants to compile sounds that will form the basis of a live performance.
Tickets: £5, book on Eventbrite
