Artist's Talk with Mark Lomax
18:30 on 13 April 2018
An Talla Solais Gallery, West Argyle Street
Come along to hear the story behind our current exhibition. Artist Mark Lomax will talk about the nature of his collaboration with composer and performer Dr Mark Lomax.
He’ll discuss how the ideas and artwork around you have been generated in this fascinating multi-media project which explores ideas of community, memory, identity and skills sharing in the Highlands and the United States.
The talk will start at 6.30 but doors will open at 6pm so please come along earlier if you’d like to have a look at the show beforehand or pick up a drink from the bar of the Caledonian Hotel. Please note that there will be limited seating at this event.
This event has been made possible thanks to the Paul Hamlyn Foundation through An Talla Solais’s Curatorial 2 project.
