Beginners Digital Photography Weekend

Street Level Photoworks
This course will cover the breadth of digital photography – encompassing using a DSLR camera, methods of image capture, workflow management and the processing/ alteration of images using Adobe Photoshop CS6.
Saturday: 10:30am – 5:00pm : Digital SLR Camera
How the camera works. Exploring the features of your Digital SLR, including:
Light and lighting.
Assignment – On Location, work to an informal brief. Explore your camera controls.
Group discussion & questions.
Sunday: 12:00 – 5:00pm : Post Production
Uploading images to the computer.
Adjustments and advanced techniques using Photoshop CS6.
Trouble shooting, group discussion and final questions.
Saturday 10:30am – 5pm / Sunday 12 noon – 5pm

Alicia Bruce is an exhibiting artist with over ten years experience in gallery, community and further education. Her photography sits between documentary, staged, environment and communities. In 2014, she won The RSA Morton Award.
