Book Launch: The Curatorial Conundrum
17:30 on 30 September 2016
Glasgow School of Art, Principal Seminar Room 1, Reid Building
‘The Curatorial Conundrum: What to Research? What to Study? What to Practice?’ edited by Paul O’Neill, Lucy Steeds and Mick Wilson, looks at the burgeoning field of curatorship and contributing practitioners and theorists consider a variety of futures: the future of curatorial education; the future of curatorial research; the future of curatorial and artistic practice; and the institutions that will make these other futures possible.
18:00 Mick Wilson in conversation with Kirsteen Macdonald (Glasgow School of Art) and Lesley Young (University of Glasgow). Please RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org
‘The Curatorial Conundrum’ book launch is organised by Valand Academy in association with The School of Fine Art at The Glasgow School of Art, Framework and Scottish Contemporary Art Network. ‘The Curatorial Conundrum’ is published by The MIT Press in collaboration with the Centre for Curatorial Studies/LUMA Foundation.
