23 November 2019 until 24 November 2019
Highland Print Studio
A beginner/refresher weekend class in collagraph.
Collagraph is a method of printmaking that uses texture to create a wide variety of tone and line on a plate. The process begins by making a textured plate from a thin mount board base where a variety of materials are applied to create an intricately textured printing plate. The plate is printed using an etching press and can be printed intaglio, relief or both.
Over the weekend participants will learn a range of techniques for making collagraph plates as well as a variety of ways of printing using both intaglio and relief processes.
23 – 24 November 2019, Sat – Sun 10am – 4pm
