Drawing Workshop: Making Stories Out of Objects
10:00 on 7 July 2018
An Talla Solais Studios, Market Street
Ceramicist and illustrator Rebecca Brown will lead this workshop as part of our Northbound | Nordgående exhibition events season.
Come along for some lighthearted drawing practice and a chance to discuss how an object might inspire a story. Looking at examples of artist’s books and zines which show narratives unfolding, you will have a chance to spin your own story from objects around you. Beginners are very welcome, although please note that this workshop is designed for adults.
This is a free workshop. Booking is essential: please contact firstname.lastname@example.org. The workshop will take place in the Big Art Room at An Talla Solais Studios on Market Street (next to the Village Hall) in Ullapool, IV26 2XE. There will be a one-hour lunchbreak; please bring your own lunch or pop out to a local cafe.
This workshop is kindly supported by the Paul Hamlyn Foundation
