Eastern Promise returns to Platform, Glasgow, for its seventh outing this October and, for the first time, performance and visual art will be joining the mix of vibrant and diverse live music on offer.
The eclectic multi art festival will bring the finest musicians, artists and performers together over 2 nights to the arts venue at the heart of The Bridge, Easterhouse. Taking place across the theatre and studio spaces as well as the public areas of the building, and with the café bar serving food and drinks all evening, the festival is relaxed and laid back for taking in the eclectic and varied line up on offer.
Fresh from Edinburgh Festival, Pauline and the Matches will create an interactive performance space and installation over both nights.
Glasgow based artist, Colin James Tennant’s, ‘Paint it Red’ exhibition will also be showing throughout Eastern Promise.
Pictish Trail, Sexual Objects, Visible Cloaks will form the music offering alongside theatre from the acclaimed Company of Wolves who will be presenting Achilles and Make a HOO from Feral Arts and Sita Pieraccini.
