Edinburgh Green Tease: Social Sustainability at Out of the Blue
17:00 on 29 September 2014
Out of the Blue Drill Hall, 36 Dalmeny Street
Our next Edinburgh Green Tease will be at the multi-arts venue Out of the Blue. The venue has just completed a successful year of the Forest Fringe, closing with a fantastic performance by Reverend Billy and the Stop-Shopping Choir.
We will hear from Rob Hoon, manager at Out of the Blue, about their unique work as an artistic social enterprise. The venue promotes economic, cultural, social and education opportunities to the local community. Rob will be speaking about what they have achieved with regard to their social value, and how they connect their various objectives together, and we’ll expand the discussion to examine the diverse ways that people are thinking about social sustainability in the arts, and how this complements environmental approaches in the creative industries.
Please RSVP to [email protected] by 28th September.
