Engage Scotland networking meeting: Engaging during lockdown

Join us for an informal catch up with fellow Engage Scotland members and colleagues working in gallery and visual arts education.
This Zoom meeting is open to you whether you are working at the moment or furloughed. You will, of course, have to bring your own coffee and cake this time!
Our meeting will be chaired by Janie Nicoll, a visual artist based in Glasgow and member of the Engage Board and freelance rep on the Engage Council.
Joining us to talk briefly about their work will be:
Emily Grace Keenlyside who is a Canadian Museum Educator and a doctoral candidate in the Art Education department at the Concordia University in Montreal, Quebec. Her dissertation focuses on workplace learning in art museums with mandates that promote inclusion. Although she is normally based in Quebec, Emily has been spending lockdown in a small village in rural Fife…
Kirsten Body, based in Inverness, Kirsten has 18 years’ experience working in the visual arts sector. Kirsten is Scottish Artist Union Learning Organiser for the Highlands & Islands, as well as being part of the artist-run Circus Artspace in Inverness.
We’ll then have time to catch up with each other and share our work and experiences during the lockdown period. We’ll also start to look ahead to how we can move towards the next phases of delivering fantastic gallery education experiences as things start to open up in the next few months.
