Exhibition: Christine Borland: to The Power of Twelve

Christine Borland first exhibited at Mount Stuart in 2003 with the exhibition ‘An Hospital’, which drew on Mount Stuart’s history as a naval hospital during World War One. Fifteen years later she returns, examining the context further in the year of the centennial anniversary of the Armistice.
‘to The Power of Twelve’ is a masterful series of new works exhibited throughout the house in rooms where surgery and recovery once took place.
