How we ... Publish

The Frutimarket Gallery
This new series of informal talks offers a glimpse into different aspects of how we do what we do. Here Elizabeth McLean, the Fruitmarket’s Deputy Director, discusses our work as a visual art publisher. Bring any questions and we’ll share what we’ve learned along the way.
Publishing is an intrinsic part of The Fruitmarket Gallery’s creative programme, with books published to accompany each exhibition. Books are conceived as part of the exhibition-making process, with the book extending the reach and life of each exhibition and offering artists and curators a second space in which to present their work.
