Introduction to Embroidery with Wemyss School of Needlework
10:30 on 16 June 2018
Dovecot Studios, 10 Infirmary Street, Edinburgh EH1 1LT
Fire up your own creative embroidery project with this one-day introductory workshop taught by the famous Wemyss School of Needlework.
Taught in a small, informal group, this is the perfect class for all newcomers to hand embroidery. The class includes a set design for you to work on along with all the materials and equipment you need to complete the project. You will be able to borrow ring frames, magnifiers and lights (if needed) on the day but, if you prefer, you may like to bring your own embroidery scissors.
Should participants wish to acquire a ring frame, yarn and other equipment to continue their work at home, a kit will be available for sale on the day for £25 from Dovecot Shop. A broad range of textile related products are sold in Dovecot Shop, and will be available with a 10% discount on the day.
