Introduction to Embroidery with Wemyss School of Needlework
10:30 on 8 September 2018
Dovecot Studios, 10 Infirmary Street, Edinburgh EH1 1LT
Fire up your own creative embroidery project with this one-day introductory workshop taught by the famous Wemyss School of Needlework. Learn a selection of technical hand embroidery stitches, create a stunning sample and explore how to apply all the same techniques in your own designs.
Taught in a small, informal group, this is the perfect class for all newcomers to hand embroidery. The class includes a set design for you to work on along with all the materials and equipment you need to complete the project. You will be able to borrow ring frames, magnifiers and lights (if needed) on the day but, if you prefer, you may like to bring your own embroidery scissors.
