Introduction to Macramé: Hanging Planter Workshop
15 September 2018 until 18 August 2018
Dovecot Studios, 10 Infirmary Street, Edinburgh EH1 1LT
Learn the basics of the increasingly popular craft of macramé. By the end of the course, you will leave with your own hand-made macramé plant hanger and new plant, perfect for the urban gardener.
All materials to make your macramé designs are provided, including the plant and pot. However, if you have any treasured items, such as beads, gems, driftwood that you would like to incorporate in your final piece, please bring them along on the day.
No previous experience is required for this workshop.
Lucy Wayman, Edinburgh based artist and sculptor, will be running this workshop alongside the Liberty Art Fabrics & Fashion exhibition where she will be exhibiting new work in addition to her own macramé designs in the Dovecot shop from Saturday 28 July.
Attendees will receive a 10% discount in Dovecot Shop on the day and can pre-book their lunch by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org
