Junior Screen Printing with Jo Gannon
30 March 2019 until 31 March 2019
Peacock Visual Arts, 21 Castle Street
Join Jo Gannon for a two-day introductory workshop in screen-printing. Experimenting with layers and colours you will design and create your own mask! When you arrive Jo will give an introduction on mask making, you will then design your own mask and Jo will teach you how to transfer your design into a screen print. What does your mask do? Does it hide you or make you more noticeable? Does it tell people something about you? What will your mask say? This workshop is recommended for children and young people ages 8 and above. Children under the age of 12 will need to be accompanied by an adult to help with anything tricky. The workshop will run over two from 10:00-15:00 on Saturday the 30th and Sunday the 31st. There will be a lunch break from 12:00-13:00 each day. You can either bring a packed lunch or head out into the city.
