Merchant City Festival: Mystical Landscape Invention Print Workshop
13:00 on 26 July 2019
Glasgow Print Studio
Come along to our 1st floor gallery and create a mysterious landscape print inspired by our current exhibition by artist, Alasdair Wallace.
Alasdair’s richly worked and allusively plotted paintings and prints present a world that is, at once recognisable and unsettling. Combining imagery from city and countryside he creates images touched with humour, mystery and a subtle sense of sadness. This free family event is an intergenerational event aimed at young people age 8 -15yrs and their parents, guardians, grandparents. The workshop will be delivered by 2 practising printmakers and will explore print techniques.
Please note : Young people must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
