Mercat House, The Hidden Lane at 1103 Argyle Street
To mark my first two years in The Hidden Lane, and as an artist here in Scotland, I am opening my studio to visitors the first Saturday in October from 11 till 4ish.
Talk to me and browse work I make on Polaroids and Instax, paper, objects and canvas. 200+ Glasgow “cityskies” originals and “I Love This City (even more when the sky is blue)” prints have recently been seen at GCAF and ArtCarBootSale (courtesy of Patricia Fleming Gallery) and my new trashed canvases and latest abstracts on instantfilm are brand new, so this be the first chance to see them.
My studio is very wee but you can expect a warm welcome, whatever the weather!
The Hidden Lane is a colourful corner of Finnieston – packed with maker spaces selling textiles, cards, jewellery, etc direct to those who pop by – once found forever loved. *Pro tip: book yourself in for deliciousness at The Hidden Lane Tearoom too.
Travel: 4 min walk from Exhibition Centre station. Bus number 2 stops closest by.
