POETRY SOUND LIBRARY
My poem “Field Notes” is included in Poetry Sound Library, an online archive of living and non-living poets from around the world.
Evolved from the field notes for “These are the Four Things I Ask of You”, a single-channel video which re-imagines Straub/Huilllet’s “Othon”—exploring San Francisco’s Russian Hill and Edinburgh’s Calton Hill. A classical tragedy with the wind blowing through it, a wind that really exists.
“We must preserve the voice, return to the purity of sound, remove the noise from the words, awaken the primordial sound of the wind, give back to poetry the power of the voice” – Giovanna Iorio, Sound Library curator.
