Two Night Stands: Dundee Print Collective
28 March 2017 until 29 March 2017
Dundee Print Collective was established in 2013, primarily based in Dundee Contemporary Art’s Print Studio. To date, over one hundred individuals, including artists and designers as well as individuals with no artist training or background, have been involved. Collaborating with Lynda Morris, during Two Night Stands Dundee Print Collective will produce a series of posters within the gallery that respond to the phrase ‘I’m Trouble’ or ‘We’re Trouble’, taken from Morris’ lecture on artist André Cadere. Inviting visitors to interact with the screen printing process as well as Live Zine Making over the two-day period, the space will become a site of subtle protest, resembling the detritus of cast aside protest paraphernalia. EVENT: Wednesday 29 March, 6pm with Lynda Morris.
