Visit to Lotte Glob's Studio
11:00 on 30 June 2018
Lotte Glob Sculpture Croft
An invitation to visit the workshops of Sutherland-based ceramicist Lotte Glob.
You will see Lotte’s working studios and kilns and she will explain her ways of working, including glazing, making ceramic books, throwing ‘floating stones’ and firing the kiln. After lunch there will be time to explore her sculpture croft on the shores of Loch Eriboll and to hear about Lotte’s installation work on the croft and in the landscape.
Participants will be responsible for their own transport (although please ask if you’d like a lift as there will be a few cars travelling). Please take your own lunch, and dress suitably for the outdoors.
All ages are welcome though children should be accompanied by an adult. Places are limited so booking is necessary: please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
An admin fee of £10 per person (£9 for ATS Members) is payable in advance to An Talla Solais. Instead of a full fee there will be a donations box on site for donations towards the work of Lotte’s sculpture croft.
