Street Level and the Culture Collective programme – Digital Producer

Creative Scotland with Scottish Government emergency COVID-19 funds launched the Culture Collective pilot programme to support creative practitioners, organisations and communities to work together across Scotland to help shape the future of local cultural life.

The programme focus is on community engaged creative activity, supporting 26 lead organisations in Scotland working collaboratively to develop ways of responding to the impacts of the ongoing pandemic and establish a network of creative practitioners, organisations and communities, working together to create a positive difference locally and nationally in response to COVID-19.

We are looking for a digital producer with at least 5 years’ work experience post-education. Evidence of a strong track record of digital production and associated
digital skills in image and video editing, alongside web-based programming and digital promotion is desired, as is an awareness of issues relating to digital
inclusion and digital accessibility.

Applicants must be confident with developing creative, stand-out ideas for implementing a digital strategy online for Street Level and the Culture Collective programme.

You must have the ability to work both as part of a team as well as in a self-directed manner, be able to take initiative and have clear communication and reporting skills. Excellent organisational attributes, and being able to prioritise work appropriately and deliver results within set timescales is also essential.

Fee: £21,600 (based upon £36,000 p/a pro rata) – Equating with 3 days per week for 12 months, spread over a 15-month period.

Location: Street Level Photoworks and some at home working, as required.
