Freelance Researcher, We Contain Multitudes

Collective are recruiting a Freelance Researcher for ‘We Contain Multitudes’ – a three-year collaborative project with Dundee Contemporary Arts and LUX Scotland aiming to create systemic change in Scotland for disabled artists and arts professionals.
The Freelance Researcher will prepare documentation outlining the current climate within the visual arts sector, and develop a model for best practice for commissioning, to share internally in our organisations and advise on training with the wider Scottish visual arts sector.
Crucially, the Freelance Researcher will lead on how to effectively share the learning from this project, with the support of our Project Manager and staff within Collective, DCA and LUX Scotland.
Contract: Freelance, Fixed Term
Total fee: £17,125
Days: We have planned for this role to involve between 1-2 days of work a month between December 2023 to February 2026. This role may involve some evening and weekend work.
