In Session FKA GRADJOB is an alternative contemporary art learning and development programme that focuses on the needs of early-career practitioners working/practicing in Scotland today, as well as the new challenges they now face as a result of COVID-19.
In Session are looking to recruit 3 Board Members to ensure that the organisation upholds its charitable aims, reflects its vision for an art sector founded on solidarity and achieves its mission to offer new opportunities for meaningful engagement, learning and professional development in order to remove barriers that prevent careers in the arts from being sustainable.
As Board Member, you will contribute your time and skills to help us achieve our goals and shape our strategic direction in accordance with our governing document, legal and regulatory guidelines, as well as providing input and support with our development strategy to ensure the financial sustainability of the programme.
This is a voluntary position and is not remunerated.
In Session Board Members are appointed for a three-year period. A maximum of two terms of three years can be served. The time commitment required is typically 2-3 days per month and Board members are asked to attend 2 meetings per year (June and December).
