Join the Board of Fife Contemporary
Closing date 30 July 2025
Join the Board of Fife Contemporary
We are seeking expressions of interest from individuals who can bring a range of professional and lived experience to our engaged and energetic Board!
Our Board is critical to meeting our charitable purpose, ensuring we meet our sustainability and EDI targets, and providing meaningful impact and public benefit. All our Board members care about our mission to create opportunities for the public to engage in visual art and craft in Fife. We are seeking new members who can demonstrate this same passion and one or more additional areas of knowledge and lived experience that they are keen to offer.
These might be that:
- They understand the issues that people working in visual arts and crafts experience as either employees or freelance professionals.
- They experience and understand one or more forms of marginalisation and are keen to break down this and other barriers to inclusion.
- They are interested in and can bring experience in supporting our climate and sustainability mission and targets.
- They have experience of education at primary or secondary school level.
- They are interested in how charitable board membership contributes to society and are keen to learn more, particularly as a first-time board member.
- They have experience of accounting and financial management.
We do not expect anyone to meet all the points listed; and if you feel you have skills or experiences to offer that are not listed here, we still encourage you to apply if interested.
