Glasgow Sculpture Studios (GSS) is the UK’s largest arts production centre. We provide foundation support for the production of art in Scotland, providing skills development, encouraging experimentation and fostering a sense of community. We support one of the largest communities of artists in Scotland with over 120 artist-members, 55 of whom are studio holders based at GSS.  Through our subsidised studios, affordable workshops, and access to expertise, we support artists from all backgrounds, and at all stages of their career, to develop their practice through exploration of sculpture in its broadest sense.

We are looking for interested, supportive individuals who bring new insight, complementary knowledge of different sectors, and a commitment to supporting the effective working of the Board. Board members are expected to facilitate contact with other professional networks and organisations.  All board members are expected to work to the standards and guidance of the Office of the Scottish Charity Regulator.
