Production Coordinator

Closing date 1 February 2022

Glasgow Women’s Library (GWL) celebrated its 30th anniversary in September 2021.

Since its inception, GWL has grown from an unfunded, grassroots group totally reliant on volunteers into a renowned, unique and multi-award winning organisation, now employing 23 staff and supporting around 80 volunteers a year.

As the UK’s sole Accredited Museum dedicated to women’s history, and a Recognised Collection of National Significance, we also house an extensive lending Library and deliver innovative programmes of public events, exhibitions and learning opportunities that aim to increase the knowledge and understanding of women’s history, lives, and achievements in all their complexity and diversity.

We are seeking a Production Coordinator to join our dynamic team. This is one of two part-time Production Coordinator posts – the other Production Coordinator is Laura Dolan, who works 21 hours per week. You can find out more about our staff team here

The two Production Coordinators work closely together, and with other team members – in particular: the Director of Creative Development, Delivery and Engagement; the Development Worker for Programming and Curating; the Project / Admin Assistants and the Facilities Management Officer.

The Production Coordinator post holds a central role in the organisation, working with and across the team to deliver our vibrant programmes of events and exhibitions. It is a rewarding and varied post that gives the opportunity to be part of a life-changing organisation.
