GSA Students’ Association seeks a Freelance Programme Coordinator for our Race, Rights and Sovereignty (RRS) Event series. The series is run in partnership with Glasgow School of Art and seeks to create opportunities and forums to engage with and unpack ideas related to race, rights and sovereignty, particularly in the context of creative practices. The series delivers six events across the academic year which address and unpack themes with the aim to celebrate, challenge, inform and inspire the next generation of artist, designers and architects.
We would like to have hear from candidates with experience of working in arts environments, and who have a demonstrable interest in the themes and concerns which underpin the RRS programme. You should have experience of programming and organising events and projects, and have an active interest in creative discipline(s).
You can find a full role description and more information on the programme by visiting the GSASA website.
To apply, please send a CV and Covering Letter including a statement of approach and detailing your relevant experience and interest in the role to [email protected] by 5pm on Friday 24th November 2023. Interviews with shortlisted applicants will be held on 11th December 2023 either in person at GSASA or via Zoom.
GSASA welcomes applications from everyone irrespective of sexual orientation, gender identity, sex, ethnicity, faith and religion, disability and age, and we particularly welcome applications from candidates from minority ethnic backgrounds for this post.
