Dundee Ceramics Workshop was set up by members of Tin Roof Arts Collective in 2016. The collective was founded in 2010 by graduates of Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design, with the intent of providing a space for artists and the wider creative community in Dundee to work and collaborate. Between 2010 and 2016 the creative collective were based on Ure Street in a large industrial warehouse where the collective provided studio space for nearly 100 artists, a wood workshop and two exhibition spaces. In 2016 Tin Roof relocated to Milne’s East Wynd and launched DCW.
