Katherine Murphy graduated in 2010 with a degree in Art Philosophy and Contemporary Practises from Duncan of Jordanstone, Dundee. She went on to work for 2 years at the artist run space Generator Projects as a chairperson, where she curated exhibitions with contemporary emerging visual artists and, with other committee members, organised a programme of events. She has also worked in arts administrative roles in places such as the Cooper Gallery in Dundee and initiated the ‘Dundee Print Collective’ in support of the Dundee Print Studio. In 2016 she participated in the Curatorial Studios project and worked as an assistant curator for Glasgow International 2016.
