Kirsten Lloyd is an independent curator and Lecturer in Curatorial Theory and Practice at the University of Edinburgh where she is Programme Director of the MSc by Research in Collections and Curating Practices. She is an academic lead for the University’s new Contemporary Art Research Collection and is a founding member of the Glasgow-based curatorial co-operative Chapter 13.
Recent and forthcoming publications include “If You Lived Here… : A Case Study on Social Reproduction in Feminist Art History,” in Feminism and Art History Now (I.B. Tauris, forthcoming 2017) and “Shaping Collections: Globalisation and Contemporary Art,” in Affiliate: Thinking Collections Yearbook (Affiliate, 2016).
