Jupiter Artland now open for it's tenth year
From 12 May to 30 September, Jupiter Artland is open to the general public from 10am to 5pm, everyday. Celebrating it’s tenth year in 2018, Jupiter is offering a PAY WHAT YOU WANT MONDAY every week and has a programme full of special events, including Art Salons, a Fado music evening and Artist talks.
Acclaimed British Artist, Phyllida Barlow has created “quarry”, her first permanent outdoor commission for Jupiter Artland, and the internationally renowned artist Joana Vasconcelos’s exhibition “Gateway” will be presented in the gallery spaces.
Emerging artist Ollie Dook will open the summer season in July with his first outdoor site-specific installation. In tandem with the opening of Edinburgh Art Festival, the second Jupiter Artland Campout will offer live music, performance and films. A publication looking back over the past 10 years, featuring never before seen imagery and essays by leading artworld voices, will also be released in July.
