Marseille/ Glasgow Programme
As part of Printemps de l’art Contemporain Festival in Marseille, a programme of Scottish exhibitions and events with Scottish artists and curators titled ‘Love Letters’ will take place from 9 to 26 May.
More than 12 galleries and spaces across Marseille will feature work by Scottish or Scotland-based artists including Rachel Maclean, Hanna Tuulikki, Douglas Morland, Phillippe Murphy, and Sarah Forrest. Various Marseille institutions have partnered with Glasgow galleries, collectives, and organisations including Good Press, Project Ability, Street Level Photoworks, and Chapter 13 and Francesca Zappia to develop projects and events throughout the festival.
‘Love Letters’ feels like a fitting title for the long-distance relationship between these two artistic communities.
