Call for Expressions of Interest: Graphic Designer

SCAN is seeking a talented graphic designer to collaborate on Ley Lines, our creative placemaking project for the Highlands. We are looking for a designer with skills in data visualisation, print design, and identity creation to help shape the visual language of the project and upcoming report.

In 2025-26, SCAN will produce a comprehensive report mapping creative activity in the Highlands, identifying gaps in support, and exploring how organisations connect with artist-led groups. The report will be complemented by a new visual identity co-created with Highland-based designer, reflecting the values and aesthetics of the local creative community.

This is an exciting paid opportunity to contribute to a project that celebrates the region’s creativity while supporting meaningful connections across communities.

We are seeking expressions of interest from designers who are based in and/or who have strong links with the Highlands. Please submit a portfolio or links to your work, along with a brief statement of interest (up to 500 words), to SCAN’s Highland Development Lead Emma Gibson at [email protected] by midnight, Monday 19 January. If you have any questions, please email Emma in advance of the closing date.
