Join us for a panel discussion exploring the themes of Extraction and the legacy of post-industrialisation.

Closing Panel Discussion
What Remains: History, Land & Energy Transition
Wednesday 15th July, 6:30–7:45pm
60mins + 10min Q&A, via Zoom

Moving from artistic response to collective reckoning—what do we owe to communities shaped by extraction, and how do we navigate the transition away from fossil fuels without repeating historical injustices?

This closing panel discussion grounds the themes of Extraction in urgent present-day questions. We will be joined by Dr Catherine Spencer, art historian from the University of St Andrews. Her research and writing explores creative practices from the 1960s to the contemporary moment, thinking carefully through art, politics and landscape.

This event marks the close of our public programme for Extraction.
