Polymer Photogravure

Discover the subtle tonal qualities and fine detail available using photopolymer plates with photographic imagery and hand drawn originals through this acid free, low toxicity intaglio method of printmaking.

Over the weekend you will learn how to prepare your image for plate making, transfer to a light sensitive plate, expose and cure the plate to create great depth and tonal range from your original imagery, how to ink up using traditional oil-based inks and print on our Rochat etching press to create a small edition of unique prints.

This course is suitable for all levels of printing including complete beginners.
