Call for Expressions of Interest: Affiliations Cohort
Closing date 24 February 2026
Building on our pilot programme of online Affiliations workshops for artist-run initiatives (ARIs), SCAN is delighted to announce the opportunity to join the Affiliations Cohort; an in-depth training opportunity for up to 20 individuals from approximately six artist-led organisations. The cohort will engage in practical and logistical learning that is often overlooked or hard to fund when running a voluntary/small-scale ARI.
This opportunity is open to any individual who is part of an artist-led project and is seeking peer learning, networking opportunities and practical skills-based training. The exact focus of the programme will be decided by the cohort and delivered by appropriate, accredited professionals. Depending on needs identified by the cohort, training could focus on areas such as governance, finance, health and safety, policy work or conflict mediation.
Between April and August 2026, the Affiliations Cohort will participate in:
- 3x funded field trips to meet with other ARIs from across the country (including travel and sustenance allowance and host ARIs receive a hosting fee with a limited accommodation budget available)
- Bespoke, and where appropriate accredited training, tailored to the needs of the group
- Networking and peer-learning opportunities
- Access support for additional needs.
To express your interest in being a part of Affiliations Cohort, fill in this short application form by midnight on 24 February 2026.
