SCAN Director

Salary: £40,000 pro rata (4 days per week)
Location: Remote working at present, majority of team is Glasgow-based
Do you have the ambition and contacts to take Scotland’s member-led network for the contemporary art community to its next stage? SCAN is looking for a new Director to build on its leading advocacy and development work, aimed at connecting, championing and cultivating contemporary visual art across all areas of Scotland and beyond.
With a growing membership and strong advocacy links to an increasing number of stakeholders including the Government, Scottish Contemporary Art Network (SCAN) is the member-led network for contemporary visual art in Scotland. SCAN’s members encompass artists, art workers, galleries and visual art organisations of all sizes and types.
If you’re passionate about how art can spark change, and would like to work with the SCAN team, board and membership to lobby for policies and practice to support it, this role could be for you.
