Scottish Government – Sector Support Needs Report

In January 2025, the Scottish Government circulated a survey to gather views from those working in, or interested in culture to share their support needs and experiences.
We shared this survey with SCAN members and also submitted a response, alongside issuing a briefing paper, created in partnership with members and outlining a list of recommendations for widening the scope of the review.
The report from this survey has now been published, summarising views on current provision for culture in Scotland, gathered from over 700 responses.
