#UnwrapArt 2025: SCAN Member Shops

#UnwrapArt is SCAN’s annual campaign inviting the public to support Scotland’s artists and makers while buying gifts and experiences that loved ones will treasure. This week, we’re bringing you a gift guide of work by our members, which you can purchase online and all over Scotland. The selections range from stocking fillers to investment pieces, reflecting the range of artwork made by Scotland’s artistic community.
Looking for some advice? Our Director, Veronique AA Lapeyre, suggests starting in the gallery shop. “The staff are extremely knowledgeable, the environment welcoming and there’s a passion for championing artists’ works in a way that is not at all intimidating,” she shares. “As a result, buying contemporary art can become a conversation which includes getting to know you, the person you are buying for or the space you are considering hanging the artwork.”
