Work with us! SCAN seeks new Director

We’re saying cheerio to our Director, Clare at the end of the year – which means there is a great opportunity now open to work alongside our talented team, board and membership.

We’re looking for someone to help build our leading advocacy and development work, aimed at connecting, championing and cultivating contemporary visual art across all areas of Scotland and beyond.

If you’re passionate about how art can spark change, and would like to work with us to lobby for policies and practice to support it, this role could be for you.

With a growing membership and strong advocacy links to an increasing number of stakeholders including the Government, Scottish Contemporary Art Network (SCAN) is the member-led network for contemporary visual art in Scotland. SCAN’s members encompass artists, art workers, galleries and visual art organisations of all sizes and types.

If you’re passionate about how art can spark change, and would like to work with the SCAN team, board and membership to lobby for policies and practice to support it, this role could be for you.
