Do you want to know more about the oil Scotland produces? Join the Jupiter team for a rare opportunity to trace the Forth’s energy story by boat. This event accompanies our major new exhibition, Extraction, which explores the cultural, psychological and environmental legacies of energy systems.

The boat tour will include sighting the contemporary North Sea oil facilities and important renewable energy sites. The journey will pass the Forth Bridges and Queensferry Crossing, opening up a dialogue between past and present extraction economies and open conversations about humanities need for the consumption and unpack on geopolitics nature and our collective futures.
