Culture Collective – Facility Assistant

Creative Scotland with Scottish Government emergency COVID-19 funds launched the Culture Collective pilot programme to support creative practitioners, organisations and communities to work together across Scotland to help shape the future of local cultural life.
The programme focus is on community engaged creative activity, supporting 26 lead organisations in Scotland working collaboratively to develop ways of responding to the impacts of the ongoing pandemic and establish a network of creative practitioners, organisations and communities, working together to create a positive difference locally and nationally in response to COVID-19.
We are looking for someone with a working knowledge of photography, across analogue and digital formats to oversee the day-to-day running of our facilities, for

Applicants must have the ability to work as part of a team and in a self-directed manner, with clear communication and reporting skills.
Applicants must be motivated by supporting the creativity of others and have excellent technical and organisational skills and you must be able to prioritise work appropriately and work within set timescales.
Applicants must be resident in Scotland and able to commute to Glasgow, and must hold a degree in photography, or relevant industry experience.
Fee: £14,000 (based upon £24,000 pro rata): for 24 hours per week (3 days) for a term of 12 months.
